Once upon a time, before even Olympian gods came to be, Cyclops were created.
They were described as pastoral but savage and have been known as master craftsmen and builders.
The Cyclopes helped the Olympian gods, led by Zeus, defeat the Titans in their ten-year long battle for control of the universe and have been credited with making the thunderbolts that Zeus used as a weapon to strike down his enemies, the helmet of Hades which made the wearer invisible, the trident of Poseidon, and the silver bow of Artemis.
